Study opportunities shaping WA agriculture in 2026
In 2026, the WA Agricultural Research Collaboration (WAARC) will expand the study and professional development pathways available to students, researchers and industry professionals across Western Australia’s agriculture and food sector.
Through the launch of the WAARC–Grower Group Alliance (GGA) Honours Partnership Program and the sponsorship of a WAARC-supported Churchill Fellowship, WAARC is strengthening its commitment to building research capability, industry-ready skills and future leadership across the state.
In addition, applications for Round 3 of WAARC’s Postgraduate Research Scholarship Program are expected to open in late March, providing further opportunities for the next generation of researchers to undertake postgraduate projects that respond to emerging challenges and opportunities within the agriculture and food sector.
Together, these initiatives create practical, well-supported opportunities for people at different stages of their careers to deepen their skills, pursue applied research and contribute to real-world outcomes for WA agriculture.
