Expressions of interest now open
The WA Agricultural Research Collaboration (WAARC) is running an expression of interest (EOI) for the WAARC Polyphagous Shot-hole Borer – Fusarium Dieback (PSHB-FD) Research Program.
All WAARC PSHB-FD Research Program EOIs must be submitted via SmartyGrants (link opens 20 November 2024) and EOI applications close 5pm (AWST) on 18 December 2024.
Please note that while this will be an open EOI, there are strict eligibility requirements, including:
- A WAARC member MUST be the lead researcher on the application
- At least 3 WAARC members need to be included in the collaborative research application
- The application needs to focus on one of the identified research priorities (see attached)
Short-listed applicants will be invited to submit a more detailed project proposal for the second stage of the process. We look forward to receiving your EOI proposals and working together to support WA’s agricultural sector and bolster the PSHB-FD eradication response.
If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact WAARC via email (please include PSHB in the subject).
The following documents provide supporting materials to assist with your EOI submission:
- Guidelines (for applicants)
- Summary of WAARC PSHB-FD research priority areas
- Webinar: PSHB-Fusarium Dieback Research Program can be watched here and the PowerPoint slides are available here.
- DPIRD regulatory considerations requiring approval (document currently being finalised and to be uploaded to this website shortly)
