Hi all,

One of the most rewarding parts of WAARC’s work is creating opportunities that help talented people build meaningful careers while delivering value back to industry. That is why I am delighted to share the successful launch of the new WAARC and Grower Group Alliance (GGA) Honours Partnership Program.

This new initiative marks another significant milestone in WAARC’s growing Capacity Building Program and reflects exactly what WAARC was established to do – bring industry, government and universities together to strengthen Western Australia’s agricultural research pipeline.

Through the program, honours students from Curtin University, Murdoch University and The University of Western Australia will work directly with grower groups on applied research projects shaped by real industry priorities. These are career-defining opportunities that move students beyond the classroom and into genuine collaboration with the people and communities driving our agricultural sector forward.
