As we come to the close of 2025, it is a timely opportunity to reflect on what has been a significant year for the WA Agricultural Research Collaboration (WAARC). This year has been defined by momentum – in the scale of projects we are delivering, the partnerships we have strengthened, and the strategic foundations we have put in place to support Western Australia’s agriculture and food sector well into the future.

Throughout 2025, WAARC successfully contracted a substantial number of projects across our priority programs, reinforcing our role as a trusted broker of collaborative, industry-aligned research and development. These projects span biosecurity, productivity, sustainability and future systems, and collectively reflect WAARC’s core purpose: connecting members and partners to deliver research that is strategic, impactful, and grounded in industry need.
