Turning emerging priorities into action
Across Western Australia, new research and development (R&D) opportunities are emerging around some of the biggest challenges and opportunities facing agriculture, from biofuels and nitrogen security to horticulture and the future use of post-mining land.
The WA Agricultural Research Collaboration (WAARC) is working to connect these opportunities with the research capability, partnerships and people needed to take them forward, while continuing to build the State’s longer-term research capacity.
This edition of WAARC Horizons looks at how that work is progressing, alongside a stronger framework to guide future collaborative research investment in WA.
