We loved being back at the Ag Institute Australia (AIA) WA Division Annual Careers Night for the third year in a row.
Held on 1 April 2026 at the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia Showgrounds in Claremont, the event was buzzing with high school and university students eager to explore careers in agriculture.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the WAARC booth to chat with Capacity Building and Extension Program Lead Jenny Crisp, and Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator Sian Orchard, about our research and scholarship opportunities.

A special shoutout to committee member Wallace Cowling for his impressive trumpet skills – a fun and effective way to signal when it was time for students to move on to their next industry conversation!
And of course, the pizzas were a crowd favourite after a busy evening of networking!
